Oakland Nopales was born in 2014, rooted in the idea of “Mexican Roots, Oakland Raised.” It’s more than a brand—it’s my story. I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and raised in East Oakland. That dual identity shaped who I am and everything I create.

The cactus became my symbol—a nopal in the shape of the Oakland tree. Tough, rooted, and thriving in harsh conditions. Just like us. Just like Oakland. We don’t get the love, the support, or the resources—but we still THRIVE.
